I really, really like Loki in this picture. (and not just because he is burdened with glorious hair) But up until now Loki has always been a very hard lined, sharp looking character. Everything about him, the way he moves, the way he dresses, is carefully calculated. He wants to exude an image of power, the way he thinks a ruler should look. But here he has none of that. Simply clothes, relaxed posture, loose hair. He’s just a man, not a king or a villain or whatever. Just Thor’s little brother. Then you remember that he’s a trickster god, and that he is every bit as dangerous now as he’s ever been.

I’ll be real here, Loki is the part in which I find Tom’s face least athletically pleasing (it’s his voice that does me in, like always) But right here, all I can think is “get in my bed”.

I have the exact same feeling about Thor in the last frame too. Mrrow.
